Strengthening Federal–Provincial Coordination for Workplace Harassment Redress in Balochistan
Effective service delivery depends on strong coordination between institutions working at different tiers of governance. Strengthening these connections ensures that workplace protections are implemented consistently and that citizens receive timely support across provinces. The Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment, along with the FOSPAH Baluchistan team, met with the Provincial Ombudsman, Mr. Ali Ahmed Lehri, to discuss the Workplace Harassment Act, relevant policies, and the alignment of provincial and federal mandates. The meeting also explored opportunities for closer cooperation for the people of Baluchistan, including the use of informal dispute resolution mechanisms to provide accessible and practical relief. The engagement highlighted a shared commitment to safer workplaces, stronger institutional linkages, and improved pathways for redress.
