FOSPAH Hosts UNFPA Pakistan to Reinforce Gender Sensitivity and Preventive Measures

Advancing safer and more inclusive workplaces, Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment at Workplace (FOSPAH) convened a collaborative meeting with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). 
During the meeting, Honourable Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Waqar highlighted FOSPAH’s mandate to prevent harassment and foster gender-responsive work environments, emphasizing the importance of integrating gender sensitivity across all institutional initiatives.

Dr. Luay Shabaneh, UNFPA Representative in Pakistan, welcomed the engagement to enhance women’s workforce participation, address gender-based violence and harassment, and reinforce preventive measures through awareness campaigns, media engagement, and targeted capacity-building programs.

The meeting concluded with a shared understanding of key priorities and an openness to exploring future avenues of collaboration.
