Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harrasment (FOSPAH) organized a training session at Islamic Relief Pakistan for its Community Officers.
The training session was conducted by Ms. Meher Jamy, Law Officer FOSPAH, and Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Assistant Registrar FOSPAH. Islamic Relief is a faith-based humanitarian relief and development organisation which employs a gender equal workforce. The session was largely focused on the scope of workplace harassment, the law regarding the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010 and the role of FOSPAH in addressing grievances. The training was well-received by the participants who expressed appreciation for the comprehensive overview and interactive nature of the session. They also reiterated their commitment to upholding and promoting the highest standards of workplace safety and dignity in the communities where they work.
