Regional National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Karachi organised an awareness seminar on the issue of harassment at the workplace and the legal framework that deals with it. Federal Ombudsperson, Ms. Fauzia Viqar along with her Legal Team of FOSPAH Regional Office Karachi led this critical discourse drawing attention from esteemed speakers, experts and attendees on requirement of the laws and responsibilities of the employer. Mr. Javed Akbar Riaz, DG NAB Karachi informed the Ombudsperson of the zero tolerance policy of NAB, the nearly 30% female workforce and mechanisms in place to address harassment and discrimination. Directors and deputy directors from various NAB departments were also present and contributed suggestions to addressing harassment at the workplace.
