FOSPAH’s Response on the Video Circulating on Social Media

On 25.10.2023 a video was widely circulated on social media which showed a lawyer misbehaving with the Legal Advisor (former Sessions Judge with 37 years judicial experience) on account of being displeased with an order passed by the then Ombudsperson. This incident occurred in February 2023. In almost every case one party is aggrieved by the decision of the case. However, that grievance does not give a license to counsel to misbehave with court staff. FOSPAH has referred the matter to the Islamabad Bar Council for appropriate action and we are confident that the Bar will decide the matter as per law. FOSPAH stands by its order. The Hon’ble President of Pakistan has also rejected her representation/ appeal on the same order.
