FOSPAH Regional Office Peshawar conducted an interactive awareness session at the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees, Peshawar

To take the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment’s (FOSPAH) mission further, the FOSPAH Regional Office Peshawar conducted an interactive awareness session at the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees, Peshawar. The session was delivered by Assistant Registrar Peshawar, Ms. Amina Rafiq, and Law Officer Islamabad, Ms. Meher Jamy. The event was attended by both Male and Female Officers of the Senior Cadre of the Commissionerate. The audience was informed about the law of harassment, ranging from basic knowledge regarding the manifestations of harassment to the codal formalities of filing and processing a complaint. This was followed by a question answer segment where clarity was provided to the audience by addressing their queries and concerns about the Harassment Act. The Assistant Commissioner at the Commissionerate, Mr. Saif Ali Khan, appreciated the efforts of FOSPAH to uproot harassment and committed to arranging similar awareness seminars across the Districts of KPK, including Nowshera, Dir and Kohat.
