Federal Ombudsperson's Meeting with key members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly
Ms. Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment, held a meeting with key members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly to discuss the establishment of the Provincial Ombudsperson Office. The meeting was attended by Speaker Mr. Nazeer Ahmed Advocate, Deputy Speaker Ms. Sadia Danish, Minister for IT Ms. Surrya Zaman, Chairperson Women’s Caucus Ms. Kalsoom Farman, and Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Sanam Faryad. Ms. Fauzia Viqar reaffirmed the commitment to open the Federal Ombudsperson’s Office in GB and extended full support in addressing related challenges.
