The training was conducted by Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, Senior Legal Advisor FOSPAH; Ms. Meher Jamy, Law Officer FOSPAH; and Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Assistant Registrar FOSPAH. The session was attended by around 35 participants and included a detailed discussion on the particulars of sexual harassment and gender based discrimination; the process for filing a complaint at the departmental level; the procedure for resolution of complaints; and the responsibilities of employers under the Harassment Act of 2010. The session was highly interactive with participants inquiring about the mode of taking evidence, the role of the Inquiry Committee in deciding complaints, the root causes of harassment and the legal assistance available to complainants under the Harassment Act.
