FOSPAH Launches Public Awareness Campaign on Harassment Laws in Metro Bus Services

The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace (FOSPAH) has launched an important initiative to raise public awareness about legal rights against harassment. Under this campaign, awareness stickers have been installed on buses and at stations of the Metro Bus Services in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Multan.

This campaign is for all citizens women, men, and transgender persons—highlighting that, following the 2022 amendment, the law against workplace harassment provides equal protection to every individual. The Metro Bus service is used daily by millions of citizens, making it an ideal platform to effectively deliver this message to the general public.These stickers have been installed across Metro Bus Services in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Multan. Representing the Head Office Islamabad were Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Ms. Yumna jamil and Ms. Hira Tariq; Mr. Asghar Shahid represented the Multan office, while Mr. Hassan Nadeem represented the Lahore office.
