Police are not just protectors; they are a lifeline for victims seeking justice.
Role of Police is critical in ensuring that harassment and violence are met with swift, fair, and empathetic action. Gender sensitization transforms the police’s approach, enabling officers to understand the unique barriers faced by women and empowering them to respond with compassion, professionalism, and effectiveness. In collaboration with Sindh Police and facilitated by FPCCI, our Karachi office conducted training for the Incharges of Women Protection Cells across Sindh. This session focused on the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010, equipping participants with practical tools to recognize, address, and prevent workplace harassment. Why this matters: A gender-sensitive police force ensures that no voice goes unheard and no victim stands alone. Together, we’re building institutions that champion dignity, equality, and justice for all.
