Empowering Women, Ensuring Safety: FOSPAH & KP Police Strengthen Workplace Protections
At the Central Police Office (CPO) Peshawar, FOSPAH’s Assistant Registrar Peshawar, in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and AIG Gender Ms. Anila Naz, led an interactive session with women police officers, senior officials, law experts, and women representatives. The dialogue centered on the Harassment Act 2010, with a focus on victim support, transparent complaint registration, and safe workplace practices. National and international frameworks were emphasized, urging accountability and stronger professional support for victims. Ms. Anila Naz reaffirmed KP Police’s commitment, under IG Zulfiqar Hameed’s leadership, to empower women through dedicated women's desks. The session marked a vital step in strengthening collaboration between FOSPAH and KP Police, working together to ensure equitable, harassment-free workplaces across Pakistan.
