FOSPAH Lahore Drives Key Awareness Session at Pakistan EPA on Strengthening Workplace Harassment Protections

FOSPAH’s Regional Office in Lahore organized an informative session at the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency focusing on raising awareness about workplace harassment laws and FOSPAH’s vital role in addressing these issues. Ms. Lubna Ali, Regional Head of Lahore, led the session, which was facilitated by Ms. Azmat Naz, Deputy Director of Information and Services at EPA.

Ms. Lubna Ali started the session with a concise overview of FOSPAH’s mandate under the “Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act” before diving into the legal framework, penalties, and jurisdiction concerning harassment cases. The goal was to empower participants with a clear understanding of their rights and the reporting mechanisms available to them, underscoring FOSPAH’s dedication to fostering safer, harassment-free workplaces throughout Pakistan.
