Awareness Session at State Bank of Pakistan Highlights Collective Action Against Harassment

One of the biggest barriers to speaking out against harassment is societal attitudes and the culture of silence. The fear of disgrace, pressure of defamation, and institutional indifference often prevent victims from filing complaints. This silence not only blocks the path to justice but also empowers perpetrators to continue their behavior.

In this context, the FOSPAH Head Office team’s awareness session at the State Bank of Pakistan, led by Law Officer Mohsin Sheikh, highlighted the reality that ignoring harassment only strengthens societal chains. Filing a complaint is not merely a matter of personal protection but a collective responsibility.

Concealing harassment is equivalent to sustaining injustice, while standing against it guarantees justice, dignity, and a safer society.
