FOSPAH Holds Awareness Session at GHPL on Workplace Dignity and Harassment Laws
In societies striving for equity and justice, safeguarding dignity at the workplace is not just a legal obligation, rather, it is a moral imperative. Creating safe professional environments where women and men can thrive without fear of harassment is central to building a progressive and inclusive Pakistan. In recognition of the vital role safe and respectful workplaces play in building a just society, FOSPAH organized an awareness session at GHPL on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026. The session was led by Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Assistant Director Legal at FOSPAH, who provided an in-depth overview of Pakistan’s legal framework on workplace harassment. He highlighted organizational responsibilities, explained the complaint and redressal mechanisms, and also addressed issues related to women’s property rights.
