A delegation from Islamic Relief Pakistan (IR) visited Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH)

On 06.05.2024 a delegation from Islamic Relief Pakistan (IR) comprised of Ms. Mehnaz Kousar; Mr. Said Usman; Ms. Surryia; and Mr. Umar visited Ms. Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson, at the Head Office of Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH). Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed between FOSPAH and IR on 06.12.2023, the delegation from IR provided technical equipment to FOSPAH to assist the latter in its mission of providing expeditious and cost-effective justice to victims of harassment. The meeting concluded with a commitment from FOSPAH to train staff members of IR on the law of harassment and to organize joint awareness seminars on the subject for members of the general public.
