Khuli Kacheri at Union Council Sihala

“It was my father’s land... but I was told I had no right to it.”

“My nephews took my late father’s house and refuse to give it back.”

At yesterday's Khuli Kacheri in Sihala, stories like these echoed from the hearts of brave women who’ve been silenced for too long.

Led by Federal Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar and supported by Additional Deputy Commissioner (East) Ms. Mehreen Baloch, this public forum provided a platform for women to voice their grievances. These women had been unlawfully deprived of their rightful shares in their inheritance, were pressured into silence by their families, or were forcefully evicted from their homes.

Legal teams offered on-the-spot guidance, helping women take the first step to reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. Justice is about dignity, access, and standing beside those who’ve been told to stay quiet, and FOSPAH will continue to show up for every woman.
