Prevention Begins with Awareness

The first step to stopping harassment is understanding and identifying it. That’s why we’ve launched a nationwide school campaign focused on raising awareness and empowering students with the knowledge they need to prevent harassment before it happens.

Led by the Honorable Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar, we’re teaching students their rights and giving them the tools to recognize and stand up against harassment.

We kicked off the campaign at Government Girls High School in Sohan, Islamabad, in collaboration with Islamic Relief Pakistan where over 70 students from grades 9 and 10 participated in insightful discussions on protecting themselves and others! Some of the topics we discussed included:

  • What constitutes harassment
  • How to identify it
  • How to prevent it from happening

Knowledge is power. Let’s create a safer future together!
