Federal Ombudsperson Meets CEO PSO to Advance Workplace Dignity and Inclusion
When leadership commits to women’s representation and to harassment policies that are applied as prescribed, that culture reaches every level of the organisation.
During her week long engagements in Karachi, the Federal Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar held a meeting with the CEO of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) to discuss workplace harassment prevention, gender equality, and the promotion of a safe, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
During the meeting, the CEO of PSO reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to increasing women’s representation at all levels and strengthening workplace inclusion. FOSPAH emphasised the importance of implementing workplace harassment policies in accordance with prescribed procedures and enhancing awareness, particularly across affiliated companies.
The discussion further highlighted the need to ensure that workplace protections extend to all individuals associated with the organisation, including employees, interns, and volunteers.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening institutional accountability, safeguarding workplace dignity, and advancing gender equality across the corporate sector.
